Nike & PowerBar(R) Show up in Big Way
The East Aurora 5th Grade Basketball Tournament Feb. 14 & 21 was an AWESOME event hosting hundreds of athletes from 12 elementary schools, + 600 attenders, 65 Triple Threat volunteers, and yes…even Miss Illinois!
Blessed by the generosity of Triple Threat sponsors Nike and PowerBar®, East Aurora All Stars winning teams each received a pair of LeBron James basketball shoes, Nike basketballs were awarded to every athlete, Triple Threat PowerBars for Championship team competitors and Triple Threat Nike t-shirts to the East Aurora Tournament Championship Teams and winning Cheerleading Team.
In addition, each school coach received a basketball bag with 6 Nike tournament balls and air pump to supply 12 East Aurora elementary school gyms with needed athletic equipment. Athletes were incredibly excited to receive the awards for their accomplishments! It was a powerful way to affirm good choices, academic standards, personal disciplines and excellent team work for these youth.
And of course there were Nike t-shirts and PowerBars for volunteers! Thanks for your investment in East Aurora youth Triple Threat sponsors!!

Boys Team: Rollins (1st time ever to win the tournament -way to go Rollins!)
Cheerleading Competition: Allen
Many warm messages of appreciation came from Principal Francisco De Los Santos East Aurora school coaches.
