Love Stronger, Live Longer

Volunteerism builds strong communities and improves the lives of others, but did you know it also holds personal benefits?  1“Research has shown that those who volunteer live longer, have greater functional ability and are less likely to suffer from depression later in life than those who don’t. Statistically, employers are also more likely to hire a candidate with volunteer experience.”  

But perhaps most intriguing is the relationship between volunteering and personal transformation. Service in a cause greater than ourselves brings meaning, significance, and fulfillment as we cultivate new depths of faith, love, compassion and humanity.
