Sports Day in the Park

Over 50 youth in the Jericho Circle housing development joined Triple Threat and the Radius Team (a local Christian youth group) at Westwood Park in Jericho Circle for a Sports Day in the Park June 25.

The park was bursting with energy as over 50 neighborhood kids interacted for hours with the Radius Team to play everything from Waffle-Baseball, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, to that classic kids favorite: Tag. The more adventurous youth took on the challenge to test out the Nike Sparq Training equipment that had been set up.  Exercises through hurdles, cones and ladder training helped teach balance, footwork and agility for athletes.

And of course Triple Threat kept plenty of popsicles and water on hand so everyone stayed hydrated and cool.  Although a hot day, it was great to see everyone outside, laughing, having fun, and sharing such a great time together.
