Green thumbs. Green life. The newest Triple Threat Mentoring program combines gardening while at the same time helping people in Aurora.

This program will teach gardening and knowledge of the environment as it effects plant growth.  Harvested vegetables will benefit the kids involved as well as the community through a free food market.

This program will meet in two sessions. The first runs from May 17th until July 5th. During those dates, the program meets on Mondays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. The first session of the program focuses on getting the garden started, planting, upkeep, and some harvesting.

Starting on July 17th and running through September 4th, the program will meet on Saturday mornings. This second session focuses on upkeep, planting and harvesting.
