Sara Mock is a long-time Triple Threat volunteer. Her love for art and passion to serve under-resourced youth have led her into volunteer roles for a poetry program and a non-traditional art program, among others.
As many times as she’s volunteered, Sara learns something new every time. Find out what a group of high school poetry students taught her:
Meet Troy Pascley, Triple Threat’s new Athletic Director.
Troy just graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in Interpersonal Communications. The 22-year-old is married to wife Brittany with one boy and another on the way. Troy starred at the University of Louisville as a wide receiver and turned down a chance at the NFL combine to bring his passion for helping youth to Triple Threat.
Troy was the Louisville campus leader for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and spoke at various FCA events. Other highlights of his time at Louisville included mentoring local athletes and setting up a local homeless ministry.
The Edge Church, Triple Threat and some of their community partners spread a little extra joy this Christmas. Some 40 volunteers from the Edge, as well as Triple Threat staff put on a huge holiday party for residents at Jericho circle the day after Christmas. There was toys and food and games. Oh my.
Toys for Tots donated about 170 toys for children at Jericho. Also, The Orchard Church donated photo frames for families who had their photos taken in an earlier Triple Threat event. Thanks to all sponsors and volunteers for making such an incredible time possible!
If you have Triple Threat on your mind and holiday spirit in your heart, then here’s a perfect opportunity.
Tiny Candle is a commemorative collection of holiday music recorded over a five-year span at Aurora’s Backthird Audio. Students from a Triple Threat arts program designed the original album covers.
