Quick. Go look at your calendar. December 3rd. What’s on there? Nothing?
Look closer…. it’s the annual Triple Threat Very Important Volunteer Appreciation party. So clear out your Saturday, come out and have a good time with your friends from 3T!
You’ve shared your time and passion with us and the youth we serve, so come out to join us to see what we have in store for you!
The only thing that rivals Kyle Welton’s slick dance moves is his energy and enthusiasm.
Though he’s just a senior in high school, Kyle’s been a great leader for Triple Threat. He recently wrapped up his second session of leading Triple Threat’s Hip Hop Dance program. What makes this dilligent dancer tick and why does he share his talents with Triple Threat.

So you made a resolution to help others or volunteer in the New Year? Well, you aren’t alone.
That’s because year after year, helping others or volunteering is always on the list of Top 10 Resolutions. But the whole ‘help others’ thing isn’t always as easy to figure out on your own. Fear not….. Triple Threat is here to help.
And here’s the best part: helping others doesn’t have to be a drag. In fact, it’s flippin fun. That’s because at Triple Threat, we don’t believe in boring. We have a great time while helping others. And there’s a reason for that — we combine the fundamental principals of mentoring but apply them in a unique setting.
“If you like to have fun and want to make a difference, then Triple Threat is where it’s at,” said Triple Threat Executive Director Caleb Luper. “When you’re spending time with students doing something you’re passionate about, it’s a perfect match for kids and volunteers.”
So what do you enjoy most? Making music? Playing basketball? Hip-hop dance? Hand drumming? Making money? Riding bikes? We do it all. And the best part is, you can use your passion to make a difference in the lives of under-resourced youth.
Here’s a great example of using your passion to help others. In this case, it’s actually youth in our program doing the helping. Take a look at what students in the Birp program did for Carter, a young boy living with leukemia.
Do you know Triple Threat partners with some awesome musicians to offer music lessons?
Lessons are starting soon and will be held at the Fred Rogers Community Center in Aurora.
