Aurora, IL

Piano (Bardwell Only)
Students learn basic piano skills and the patience it takes to learn a new instrument. They go through a series of songs, varying from easy to more difficult. At the end of the program a finale will be held in which students will perform in front of students, volunteers and parents.

Guitar (Simmons Only)
This awesome partner-program is run through Simmons Middle School. 6th – 8th grade students will learn to play the guitar. If you’re an early bird and want to encourage our students as they learn basic guitar skills, come join us!

Students will have the opportunity to earn a bicycle while learning the repair skills it takes to keep it going. Donated bicycles are completely dismantled and then rebuilt over the 8-week program. Students will not only fix up their bike, but will also get to use their repair skills to give bikes to others in need. Volunteers, you don’t even know how to ride a bike!

Urban Ecology
Students will get the first hand experience working with hydroponics and aquaponics at the Triple Threat Farm while also learning the basics of Ecology. Students are exposed to a newer way of producing fresh vegetables and having fun while learning.

A fun interactive time in which 4th grade students learn characters such as teamwork, patience, encouragement, and listening through a variety of games.

Bases Loaded (Hermes Elementary)
Batter Up! Middle school students swing for the fences as they learn about legendary major league players of the past and present. They’ll calculate stats, do research collect player cards and debate whom the greatest players of all time.

College Prep/Leadership

Chop Masters
This is a fun interactive program in which students learn the fundamentals of cooking. The students
week by week learn to create a meal, which allows them to gain knowledge about food and meal preparation. Students are exposed to different types of techniques and different meals to improve their cooking skills.

Hill Elementary Art Club: (Hill Students Only)
Grade students are able to be a part of extending their knowledge about art. Not only do they learn different techniques but are able to truly be able to express themselves through art.

Yoga program
This program will create the space for 4th grade students to learn about health and wellness through the discipline of yoga and meditation. Students will participate in activities such as journaling, meditating, and developing the ability to perfect some yoga poses.

Aurora Watershed Watchdogs
Description: The students get a first-hand look at what it’s like to do conservationist work in the Fox River. They were able to walk through the river and help get measurements of life in that portion of the river. It was through The Friends of the Fox and it is part of their Watershed Watchdog program that they do with kids along the Fox River.

The Inspire program is all about inspiring girls to learn who they are through a variety of fun activities and engaging group discussion. Our discussions will revolve around the themes of self-esteem, values, goals, stress, healthy choices and more.

Boca De Oro Arts and Literature Festival
Come empower our youth with a space to unleash their hidden talent through spoken word. We want to share an inspiration for creativity to our students through the passion and beauty of their voice.

Your participation in Triple Threat’s Express Yourself Art Experience will forever leave an impact in these students lives. Sharing one’s artwork takes courage and we believe you all have what it takes to show them that!

Do you enjoy classic obstacle courses and interacting within the community?! Well come join the fun! This Carnival based event taps into the team nature to see which pairs can win top prizes!

La Semilla Connect

The students of La Semilla will experience the best of both worlds as they rotate from an athletic station to an art station. This event is certain to be action packed as we productively channel their energy!!!

Corey Maggette Basketball Camp
Come join us in this fun camp to bring out the potential of every student who enjoys the game of basketball. 6th – 12th grade students will participate in a 3-hour basketball skills camp, and then a 1-hour pep rally.

Express Yourself: Showcase
Since 1999, the Art walk in Downtown Santa Ana has been an epicenter of creativity, expression and inspiration for artists, art enthusiasts and those who simply want to engage in a vibrant, living city filled with culture. Join us for the finale of our Express Yourself 2.0 Art Experience as the youth of Santa Ana put their work on display.

Hoop It Up
Have a passion for basketball? Well come join Triple Threat as we host eight-weeks of FREE basketball training. We will be focusing on empowering students through developing their basketball skills on and off the court.

Come and learn the ultimate way to team comradery and leadership. A fun, competitive way to play football and instill life lessons through a game that strives off passion!

Volleyball Clinic
Come join us on Saturdays where we will be learning high volleyball skills training to a group of young powerful ladies. Support us as we teach students not only volleyball skills but life skills that will inspire them to believe that they can achieve their dreams.

Beyond the Canvas

Join us to help elementary students discover their inner Picasso. Students will explore a variety of art mediums and techniques as they create individual and group pieces. They will also learn what it means to think outside of the box or remove creative limitations.
