AURORA – Thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley, Triple Threat Mentoring is in the process of upgrading its office technology. The Foundation awarded the grant to Triple Threat in December 2013, and the Aurora-based non-profit will has purchased a new printer/fax machine, and 4 new computers.
“We’re extremely grateful for this grant from the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley,” said Caleb Luper, President/CEO of Triple Threat Mentoring. “We want to focus as much of our resources as possible on serving at-risk youth. This grant will help us do exactly that.”
The total of the grant award is $9,800.
Triple Threat Mentoring started in late 2007 in Aurora and helps nearly 4,000 youth each year through programming and events in Arts, Academics and Athletics.
The non-profit’s mission is ‘empowering urban youth to develop confidence, character and life skills.
