Look How Far Aurora Has Come!
In Triple Threat’s first year working in under-resourced communities in Aurora, the city witnessed 13 murders. Five years later, and for the first time since 1946, there were no recorded homicides in Aurora. This is AWESOME news for Aurora, the second-largest city in Illinois. In years past, gang activity has plagued the city, especially among teenagers and young adults.

Officials credited the homicide-free year to increased police work, community involvement and organizations such as the Quad County Urban League and Triple Threat Mentoring (Read the article here)
